This Privacy Policy applies to websites, apps, events, and other services operated by BOOM-GEN. For simplicity, we refer to all of these as our “services” in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to all services operated under the BOOM-GEN brand. If any of our services require their own separate privacy policy, then that policy will be made available to you and that policy — not this Privacy Policy — will apply.

We cannot help you build connections without some information about you. We collect information you give us, information generated when you use our services, and information from third parties.

3.1. Data you give us

Account Data: When you create an account, you provide basic information such as your phone number, email address, name, date of birth, and gender.
Profile Data: You share additional details for your profile, such as your interests, biography, lifestyle, and photos. Some data (like religious beliefs or political views) may be considered sensitive in certain jurisdictions; by providing it, you consent to our processing of it.
Verification Data: To ensure a safe environment for our community (particularly for our senior members), we may ask you to provide a copy of your government-issued ID and/or a «selfie» for identity verification.
Content: We process the content of your chats with other members, as well as the photos and videos you publish, to operate and secure the services.
Purchase Data: If you subscribe to a premium feature, we keep details of the transaction (e.g., what you purchased and when), though we do not store full credit card numbers (processed by our payment providers).

3.2. Data generated or automatically collected

Usage Data: We collect data about your activity on our services (e.g., when you logged in, features you’ve been using, actions taken, profiles you’ve interacted with).
Technical Data: We collect information from and about the device(s) you use, including IP address, device ID, device type, app settings, and identifiers associated with cookies.
Geolocation Data: If you give us permission, we collect your precise geolocation (latitude and longitude) to show you people nearby.

3.3. Data from third parties

Social Media: If you choose to log in via Facebook, Google, or Apple, we receive data from those platforms to facilitate the sign-in process.

4. Why and How We Use Your Data

The main reason we use your data is to provide and improve our services. Below are the purposes and the legal grounds we rely on:

Delete/Erase: Request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you.
Correct/Rectify: Update your information directly in the app.
Object/Restrict: Object to our processing of your data for certain purposes.

8. How Long We Retain Your Data

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for legitimate business purposes and as permitted by applicable law.

If you delete your account, your profile will no longer be visible.
We generally delete or anonymize your data after 2 years of continuous inactivity, unless we need to keep it for safety, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

9. Children’s Privacy

BOOM-GEN is strictly for adults. We do not allow individuals under the age of 18 on our platform. If you suspect a member is a minor, please report them immediately via the in-app reporting tool.

10. Privacy Policy Changes

Because we’re always looking for new ways to help you build connections, this policy may change over time. We will notify you before any material changes take effect so that you have time to review them.
