California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA Addendum)

This California Privacy Notice (“Notice”) supplements the BOOM-GEN Privacy Policy and applies solely to California residents (“consumers” or “you”). We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CPRA”).

1. Information We Collect

In the last 12 months, BOOM-GEN has collected the following categories of personal information:

Identifiers: Name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, IP address, email address, account name, phone number, or other similar identifiers.
Personal information categories listed in the California Customer Records statute (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)): Name, signature, physical characteristics, or description.
Protected classification characteristics under California or federal law: Age (18 and older), gender, and (if provided by you) sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or ethnic origin.
Commercial information: Records of services purchased or considered.
Biometric information: Faceprints (from «selfie» verification photos).
Geolocation data: Precise physical location.
Sensory data: Audio, electronic, visual, or similar information (photos/videos).
Inferences: Drawn from any of the above to create a profile about preferences and characteristics.

2. Sources of Information

We collect these categories of information directly from you (e.g., your profile input), automatically from your device (e.g., usage logs), and from third parties (e.g., social media logins).

3. Purpose for Collecting Personal Information

We use this information for business purposes, including:

Providing and maintaining our services.
Ensuring safety and security (fraud prevention).
Debugging and fixing errors.
Marketing and advertising.
Internal research and development.

4. Disclosure, Sale, and Sharing of Personal Information

Disclosure: We disclose all the categories mentioned in Section 1 to our service providers for business purposes.
Sale and Sharing: Under California law, «sharing» includes the use of data for cross-context behavioral advertising. BOOM-GEN does not sell your personal information for money. However, we may «share» identifiers and usage data with advertising partners to show you relevant offers. You have the right to opt-out of this.

5. Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA

As a California resident, you have the following rights:

Right to Know/Access: You can request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
Right to Delete: You can request that we delete the personal information we have collected, subject to certain legal exceptions.
Right to Correct: You can request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: You can request that we do not sell or share your personal information for targeted advertising.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You can ask us to limit the use of sensitive data (like precise geolocation or biometric data) to only what is necessary to provide the service.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

We will verify your request by asking you to provide information that matches what we have on file (usually by logging into your account).
